🌲 Calling All Volunteers! Join Us for Heavener Runestone Park Volunteer Camping Weekend! 🌲
Get ready for a weekend of fun, teamwork, and community spirit at Heavener Runestone Park! From October 4-6, 2024, we invite you to camp for FREE while lending a helping hand to make our beautiful park even better.
Bring your tent and stay the weekend! Tent camping spots for volunteers will be free for the nights of Friday the 4th, Saturday the 5th and Sunday the 6th.
Volunteer days are scheduled for Saturday, October 5th and Sunday, October 6th.
Join us for a variety of volunteer tasks, including park clean-up, painting, and minor repairs to our facilities. Your efforts will help preserve this stunning natural space for all to enjoy!

Kids on Wheels Fireworks Show
Come celebrate Independence Day with Heavener Runestone Park!
Bring the kids to participate in our 2nd Annual Kids on Wheels Bike Parade.
Decorate those wheels!! Bikes, Trikes, Wagons, Strollers, Roller Skates, any fun kids non motorized ride! No atv's!!
Prizes awarded to most patriotic and most Viking decorations.
This is a free community event, no registration required.
Parade line-up at the overlook will start at 6:30pm
Parade starts at 7:00pm
Fireworks show starts at dusk ~ around 9:00pm
You can bring a lawn chair and set up at the overlook to enjoy the fireworks show over the beautiful view of Heavener at night!
Come early and spend the day at the park with your family and friends, the park has covered pavilions with picnic tables and BBQ grills for you to use as well as a fun playground for the kids, it’s a wonderful place to spend the day and celebrate this 4th of July!
Bigfoot/UFO Festival
Heavener Runestone Park is offering a special on tent camping during our Bigfoot/UFO Festival for only $25 a night you can pitch your tent on our special events grassy area by the Park Overlook...we have restrooms and hot showers. Each camping spot comes with one parking pass. Additional parking passes available for purchase separately.
You can book Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday June 14, 15 & 16th for this event.
Come celebrate Father’s day with a camping trip, BBQ, Bigfoot and we’ll have a Beer Garden!!
We have activities planned for all day Saturday during our Bigfoot/UFO Festival, a fun experience for the whole family!
We will host a Sunday morning Pancake Breakfast available to anyone, local folks and campers alike! $5.00 per person (5 & under eat free)

Puppets in the Park
Come see Puppeteer Bonnie Jordan at Heavener Runestone Park in the Ampitheatre.
Bonnie is a Puppeteer, Visual Praise & Music Artist. Entry is free for all ages, donations to the Puppeteer are appreciated!
Show will start at 7pm on Saturday, July 15th at the Ampitheatre.
Independence Day Celebration
Join us on this Independence Day and celebrate at Heavener Runestone Park! Decorate your bike, wagon or stroller and participate in our Kids on Wheels Bike Parade.

Veterans Annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Heavener Runestone Park
Valentine Candlelight Night Hike
Join us for a magical, romantic Valentines night with a luminary lit hike through the Heavener Runestone Park. Enjoy a large bonfire , hot cocoa and hot cider.
$5.00 per person / $10.00 per couple. Kids 10 and under free with paid adult. Pick up your wristbands early at the Runestone Park Gift Shop or at the gate upon entry to event.
There will be three different hiking paths for different levels of difficulty.
Sweethearts Stroll - 1000 feet easy level trail along cliffs to park overlook.
Leisure Lover's Loop- 1500 feet easy to med level paved trail.
Ramped Up Runestone Loop - 1/4 mile med to hard level hike (get to see the Runestone).
The Runestone Gift Shop will be open and S’mores kits will be available for purchase next to the bonefire.
Each wristband gets you access to our special Valentines event where you can take a hike through the luminary lit pathway and receive a luminary to take home, hot cocoa and hot cider as well as the opportunity for a Valentines themed photo op with your special someone in the Ampitheatre.
